Craig S. Hyman / Numinous Music

New Client To Play CMJ: Rachelle van Zanten

Craig S. Hyman announces his new management client Rachelle van Zanten, slide guitar and Americana virtuoso from Northern British Columbia, Canada.

“We have chosen CMJ as our first effort together” says Hyman of his working with van Zanten. “Although Rachelle has a strong and loyal following all across Canada and Europe and has recently enjoyed top billing and great press in India (“Time Out” New Delhi), her touring in the U.S. has been selective and deliberately minimal, but that is about to change”. “We feel that CMJ is the right arena to fully
launch what promises to be a long and rewarding presence and career in the U.S. and are very much looking forward to the grand response we know she will receive by industry, press, and attendees alike”.

Rachelle van Zanten's current recording project is planned for an October release in Canada and a 2009 release in the U.S. and Europe. The full-length recording was produced by Joby Baker (Cowboy Junkies, Alex Cuba, The Weakerthans,
Luke Doucet, etc.) and was mixed by world-renowned sound engineer Tchad Blake (Sheryl Crow, Tom Waits, Bonnie Raitt, Paul Simon, Elvis Costello, Pearl Jam, Peter Gabriel, Los Lobos, Gomez, etc.).

Astonishing new tracks from these sessions will soon be leaked via the internet.
