MMF-US NY Summit

Join us for the MMF-US New York Summit, an all-day, in-person gathering at Reed Smith’s offices on Monday, June 8th. This curated event brings together artist managers, self-managed artists, and music industry professionals for a full day of keynote conversations, panels, presentations, and networking

We are honored to welcome Danny Goldberg, President of Gold Village Entertainment, as our keynote speaker in conversation with Jem Aswad, Executive Editor, Music at Variety
. Goldberg currently manages the careers of Steve Earle, The Waterboys, and Martha Wainwright, among others. In previous decades, he managed Nirvana, Sonic Youth, Bonnie Raitt, Hole, and The Allman Brothers Band, and later led Atlantic Records, Warner Bros. Records, and Mercury Records Group. Goldberg began his career as a music journalist and publicist and is the author of six books. Together, Goldberg and Aswad will explore the evolution of artist management, artist development, and the future of the modern music manager.  

The New York Summit will explore key topics including Know Your Rights: Managing Your Music Licensing Portfolio, Amplifying Impact: Driving Social Change Through Music, Music Managers: The New Power Brokers, The Business Behind the Artist: Infrastructure and the Modern Team, and AI: Friend or Foe?
