Road Recovery:
Our 501(c)(3) non-profit organization, dedicated to helping young people battle addiction and other adversities by harnessing the influence of entertainment industry professionals who have confronted similar crises and wish to share their experience and knowledge, celebrated its tenth year in 2008 with a star-studded concert event at the Nokia Theater in NYC on April 17, 2008. The DeBartolo Family Foundation & Tom Morello’s Justice Tour ’08 presented the non-profit’s 10 year celebration hosted by Tom Morello and Road Recovery Executive Board Member, Author - Tiffanie DeBartolo, and included supergroup performances by Slash (Guns N’ Roses, Velvet Revolver), Tom Morello (Rage Against The Machine, Audioslave), Wayne Kramer (MC5), Perry Farrell (Jane’s Addiction), Jerry Cantrell (Alice In Chains), comedian - Denis Leary, Joseph Arthur, Sen Dog (Cypress Hill), Jakob Dylan (The Wallflowers), Ours/Jimmy Gnecco, Miggs, and Road Recovery’s own Crazy James together with kids from other ongoing programs – all rocking together!
Road Recovery continues to outreach to the local community-based youth organizations in 2008 and provides peer support networks to those in need. Other current youth programs are ongoing weekly with the Keeping It Real Program, Notre Dame of Mt.
