SSE recently signed L. A. based film composer Zain Effendi for representation. Zain apprenticed for four years under Hans Zimmer, at Remote Control Productions, contributing credited score cues on such blockbuster films as "Pirates of The Caribbean 3: A Dead Man's Chest”, Transformers”, “Madagascar 2: Escape From Africa”, “Frost/Nixon”, and "The Dark Knight". Zain is currently scoring cues for the Documentary “The Prophecy”. Upcoming films include “Rwanda” and ”Roadside”.
SSE Producer management client Julius “Juice” Butty recently produced the “Scurrilous” album for Canadian artist Protest The Hero for Vagrant/Universal Records and the upcoming Kobra And The Lotus album due next year.
Michael Vail Blum has recently produced the latest album by seminal Brooklyn punk rockers Japanther for release in the Fall. Michael is currently producing L.A. based artist Danni Rosner.
Miles Wilkinson has finished producing the pilot for his upcoming live radio series “Troubadour Sedan” with co-hosts Meg Griffin (Sirius XM) and Rita Houston (WFUV Music Director) with a 2012 launch.
SSE has had a very successful 2011 with music licensing placements in such Feature Films as the Blockbuster film and soundtrack “Fast Five”; “The Change-Up”, “SWAT 2: Firefight” and various Television Shows such as “The Protector”, “Franklin & Bash”, “Childrens Hospital”, “Friends With Benefits”, “Criminal Minds: Suspect Behavior”, “NCIS: Los Angeles”, and the upcoming Fall Series “Death Valley”.
